The love story of two people who met at a Kenny Chesney concert has gone viral. Hannah Hammonds and Army Capt. R.J. Edwards locked eyes on each other two years ago at a Kenny show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and at the end of the night Hannah was able to use her phone to get her phone number to him.
The pair then met up at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, soon began dating, and over the summer, two years after they met, they got engaged on the ice at Bridgestone Arena.
A video documenting their marriage proposal quickly went viral, with more than 14 million checking it out, including “Star Trek’s” George Takei, who re-tweeted it. It even got the attention of Kenny, who has reportedly invited them to come to an upcoming show. Check out their proposal video to the right.
