What happens when priests walk into a bar? If they're in Cardiff, Wales, they get turned away. According to the Archdiocese of Cardiff, seven trainee priests went to celebrate the ordination of one of the group at a local pub when they were turned away.
The doorman allegedly thought they were part of a bachelor party and dressed in costumes. Once it was discovered they were legit men of the cloth, the group were allowed in and given a round of drinks on the house.
According to assistant manager Matt Morgan, “thankfully they were all great sports and saw the funny side of the situation.”
